Macau: Giant Panda pavillion opens in 2011
Panda-Monium in Macau
A Giant Panda Pavilion opened in 2011 as Macau’s newest attraction, featuring two giant pandas named “Kai Kai” and “Xin Xin”.
The pandas are housed in a 3,000m˛ purpose-built, fan-shaped, pavilion within the Seac Pai Van Park, in the heart of Macau’s lush and tranquil countryside.
Visitors to the pavilion can take the opportunity to discover other Coloane attractions, such as its beaches, walking trails and lush scenery.
Tickets cost just 10 patacas (80p) for adults, and entrance is free for children under 12 years and adults over 65 years. However, as daily admissions are limited, tickets should be purchased in advance.
