West Virginia’s Greenbrier Resort now served by Delta’s daily air service to Greenbrier Valley Airport

Delta Air Lines, in partnership with The Greenbrier, one of West Virginia’s premier resorts, offers a new daily, nonstop service to Greenbrier Valley Airport from Atlanta and New York (LaGuardia). The new service, began June 10 utilizing the CRJ-200 aircraft, a 50-seat regional jet.

“With so many exciting things happening at The Greenbrier, our entertainment complex with a grand casino, new restaurants, upscale retail boutiques and our PGA Tour event, we felt it was necessary to increase the number of flights into Greenbrier Valley Airport. We recognize the importance of providing convenient service to our guests and are thrilled to expand Delta’s service to our area,” said Jim Justice, chairman and owner of The Greenbrier.

“Delta is excited to be providing convenient, nonstop service between Greenbrier Valley Airport and Atlanta and New York-LaGuardia,” said Joe Esposito, Delta’s managing director – Schedule Planning. “Thanks to the connections of Delta’s large global network, the new flights will provide increased opportunities for visitors from around the world to visit the Greenbrier Valley.”

Effective Saturday, March 20th via www.delta.com, travel agents and other travel providers, flights are available for booking. Flights will be operated by Delta Connection carriers Atlantic Southeast Airlines and Pinnacle Airlines.
